Why build this website?
Rocket French is the best French learning software I have come across.
Ever since I started taking French lessons in the 8th grade, I have been totally fascinated and in love with the French Language. After high school I only had a very basic knowledge of French and I wanted to continue learning the language. I am lucky enough that my french teacher from high school likes to give me a lesson once a week for an hour for $25, but I only use this to speak french and to hear french.
The studying I do by myself at home because if I have to spend 10 hours a week with a private tutor that will cost me $250 per week and there is no way I have that kind of money to learn to speak French.
I have bought a few French software home-study courses over time from shops, and have only been mildly impressed. A few months ago I came across Rocket French and have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the software education and the enjoyment of learning that comes from it, and that is why I created this website in order to share my honest review of the product.
Who created Rocket French?
The chic and sophisticated face of Rocket French, Marie-Claire Riviere is a native Parisian, born and bred, and loves her city and country with a passion. She has traveled a lot in her career as a language teacher (she also moonlights as a fashion designer), but is always glad to get back home. For her, it is a real privilege to share her culture and her language with like-minded people.
Marie-Claire is part of the Rocket-French language team as the language expert and instructor where she, together with expert software developers and designers, audio technicians and studio engineers have combined their talents to come up with the amazing learn-french software package Rocket French.
